Former Protestant city church designed by Heinrich Hübsch in 1835/1836 to replace the castle chapel which was erected on this spot in 1599. From 1982 to 2023 it has served as State Mining Museum for Baden-Württemberg.

In the eyes of architect Hübsch, this form of building was the prototype for small country churches in Baden.
